Dear LXT users,
as you already know, up-to-date browser versions are essential for LXT to function smoothly and securely. That is why we are updating our system requirements again this year – so that you can continue to work securely and with the best possible performance.
What will change from the 1st of September 2025?
Browser blocking for very old versions
These browser versions will no longer be supported from (the beginning of) September and will no longer be able to open LXT:
- Chrome/Edge older than version 116
- Firefox older than version 115
- Safari older than version 16.3*
Warning for outdated versions
LXT will display a warning for these versions, but you will still be able to work:
- Chrome/Edge older than version 128
- Firefox older than version 129
- Safari older than version 17.3*
*Safari is only supported for the learner view. Authoring functions are not officially supported.
Important note for your planning
The browser versions that display a warning from September 2025 will no longer be supported by us from September 2026. Please contact your IT contact person in good time.
