Development of a learning journey with Hansgrohe and POWERING
Hansgrohe – the world’s largest mixer and shower manufacturer – has ushered in a new era in 2023. The product portfolio has been greatly expanded.
The challenge: to develop a learning concept that has “washed up” – with the aim of empowering sales in the relevant markets.

The team at Bildungsinnovator supports companies in their learning processes so that they can develop with change and grow sustainably.
Aims and content of the project
A specially coordinated learning journey was developed with Bildungsinnovator and POWERING as sales training specialists.
Training was not only designed to teach the basics of the product (“What is the product? What can the product do?”), but also how to sell the product successfully. This process therefore involved close cooperation between the product’s specialist departments and the sales department.
The learning concept and the learning journey were developed together in extensive and creative workshops with Bildungsinnovator and internal stakeholders. Naturally, the focus was always on the different target groups.
What were the biggest challenges?
The biggest difficulty was changing the mindset. Hansgrohe had previously specialized in showers and faucets for 120 years – to now focus on a more general approach was a particular challenge. In addition, the product range was very complex: it was a matter of training many new products in different categories.
What was the solution?
These challenges were overcome by designing a very clearly structured learning journey for employees using a blended learning approach. Many different training formats were offered and combined with different training content.
