Didactic AI: Learning time becomes scope

Within the Didactic AI, there is used a step called “learning time”. This step is being renamed to “scope” because learning time is highly dependent on each learner (speed, intelligence etc.) and is misleading here. The description “scope” is much more effective, and the selection options result in the following card scopes:

Improved Text placeholder Management

The text placeholder management is used to replace the texts which LXT can give out in response to different actions of the user, like logging in or forgetting your password. Using this menu, custom messages can be displayed instead of the default ones.

The menu for creating a translation in the text placeholder management has been changed to be more intuitive. Tooltips will now guide you through the process of creating a translation as well as be a reference point for users when writing their own translations. Once you have chosen a language, a tooltip will show the default text which you can immediately copy into your text field by clicking the “paste” button.

In the default text you will see examples of the appropriate placeholders which you can now easily copy and use. Also, a dropdown menu for placeholders has been added to the text editor similar to the one in a usual text element.

Those tools in combination with the tooltips are there to help the user navigate the text placeholder management in a more seamless way.

Improvement of the permission to use templates

There are going to be two role permissions in regard to templates instead of one from now on. “Use templates” as a role permission was changed and now only gives users the permission to use already created templates, while the new role permission “Manage templates” will give users the permission to create new templates.

Hide learning module navigation button

There is now a new feature toggle, “Hide learning module navigation button”, which hides the learning module/playlist/map button in the top bar as soon as the user is outside of learning modules/playlists/maps.

Invite individual users without automatic email

You have been able to create users with email notifications in user management for some time now. But it was not possible to customise the email beforehand. We have now developed a first solution for this.

Permission adjustment for the invite reviewer feature

On 28 August 2025, we introduced the ‘Inviting reviewers’ feature. This feature allows authors to quickly create reviewers. However, it also means that administrators lose control over user management. Our general authorisation and user management concept intends that only administrators or persons with access to user management should be able to create, edit and delete users. With this feature, we essentially gave all authors the permission to add any number of users (Reviewers) to the LXT platform.
