What methods can I use to design effective transfer routes to increase the learning transfer of my participants?
Transfer – to the hotel? Not quite, but the idea from the travel industry is not a bad one. After all, it ensures that guests actually get to their destination, i.e. at least to the hotel, and are not left to their own devices at the airport. In the context of learning, we can learn from the travel industry: learning transfer deals with transferring newly acquired knowledge and newly learned behaviors into the everyday working life of learners. A transfer design supports the actual application of what has been learned after the end of a training course.
