Changelog

languages

AI will now take into account the language variant.

AI functions will now take into consideration what language variant the user currently uses in LXT and not simply use the most common variant. So for example, for Portuguese the AI will take into account whether it’s supposed to use the Brazilian or Portuguese variant, depending wholly on the variant of the language the user currently uses.

Other examples include Chinese, where it distinguishes if it’s simplified or traditional, English if it’s British or American, or German if it’s German or Swiss.

Form of address in the German Didactic-AI

In the German Didactic-AI, we will be getting rid of the menu for choosing the preferred form of address.

The Didactic-AI will use the form of address used in the current language space you are in instead. You can adjust this in the Language settings as per usual.

Bosnian available as new system language

You can now produce learning modules in the Bosnian language. The language code in the language settings is “bs”.

Explicit distinction between American and British English available

There is now an explicit distinction between American and British English in LXT. Until now, the differences were hardly noticeable. However, in view of the demands of many native speakers, we want to meet this request.

During the rollout, we tried to find the correct variant for each language existing in LXT. If we have selected the wrong version for your use case, please let us know: support@bildungsinnovator.com.

Search in multiple languages

The LXT search can now search across languages.

Up until now the search was limited to the language selected in the bottom right. With this update the search has a toggle named “Search in all languages”. If this toggle is enabled, results from all available languages are shown.

This works for both the classical keyword search and the semantic search available in Engagement tool setups with AI functionality.
