There are going to be two role permissions in regard to templates instead of one from now on. „Use templates“ as a role permission was changed and now only gives users the permission to use already created templates, while the new role permission „Manage templates“ will give users the permission to create new templates.
By using the role permissions, the creation of new templates by inexperienced users can be mitigated if you only give them permission to „Use templates,“ for example. On the other hand, it makes sense for those intended to „Manage templates“ to also be able to use them.
If a user has none of the permissions, the icon in the sidebar on the right when working on a learning module will disappear as well, because the user in this case couldn’t use either of the menus anyway.
